Position: Acute Respiratory Care Clinician
Location: Doncaster DN21
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 10:00 – 16:00, Saturday & Sunday 10:00 – 14:00 (Flexible hours)
Start Date: 25th September to 28th March 2024 (6 months, may be extended)

Orbis Medics is thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for Acute Clinical professionals to join a dynamic healthcare team at our Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) Hub in Doncaster. If you’re passionate about advancing healthcare services and delivering patient-centric care, this role is for you.

About the Role:

As an Acute Respiratory Care Clinician, you will play a pivotal role in providing timely care and managing acute respiratory infections, which include flu, COVID, and other respiratory viruses. Join a team that is dedicated to making a difference in patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with acute respiratory infections.
• Diagnose and treat acute respiratory symptoms, including fever, cough, and breathing difficulties.
• Prescribe appropriate medications and interventions based on clinical findings.
• Collaborate effectively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Ideally, you will be a Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Advanced Clinical Practitioner, or Paramedic with a keen interest in respiratory care.
• Embrace teamwork and work collaboratively.
• Prescribing qualifications would be beneficial.
• Background in managing respiratory conditions.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and clinical assessment skills.
• Previous experience in a primary care or acute care setting is preferred.
